Master Lock Vault Enterprise allows you to easily share Bluetooth access to your locks with individuals on a limited or ongoing basis. To share Bluetooth access in Vault Enterprise with an individual, they first have to be added as a user in your Vault Enterprise organization. After the individual has been added to your Vault Enterprise organization, an account admin can provide Bluetooth access to your locks through limited access, ongoing access, or group access.
Sharing Bluetooth Lock Access - Limited Access
- Login to the Vault Enterprise website or app as an admin
- View either the Locks tab or the Users tab
- Locate the lock or user you would like to review and click on the name to view more details
- On the website:
- Click the "Access" sub tab
- Click on the "Individual User/Lock Access" sub tab
- Click the "+Add Individual Access" button on the right
- Locate the lock or user you would like to select by navigating through the list or filtering the columns
- Select the lock or user and click Next
- On the Select Access Time screen, click the "Within Specific Dates" option
- Set the Start and End date/times and click save
- The individual now has limited Bluetooth access to the designated lock within the date/times set that fall within the organization's Standard User Schedule
- On the app:
- Tap on the "Individual Access" option
- Tap on the "+" sign in the top right corner
- From the Lock Details view, enter the email address of the user who you are granting access to and tap next or from the User Details view, select a lock that you would like to provide access to
- Toggle off the "Ongoing Access" button
- Set the Start and End date/times and tap save
- The individual now has limited Bluetooth access to the designated lock within the date/times set that fall within the organization's Standard User Schedule
Sharing Bluetooth Lock Access - Ongoing Access
- Login to the Vault Enterprise website or app as an admin
- View either the Locks tab or the Users tab
- Locate the lock or user you would like to review and click on the name to view more details
- On the website:
- Click the "Access" sub tab
- Click on the "Individual User/Lock Access" sub tab
- Click the "+Add Individual Access" button on the right
- Locate the lock or user you would like to select by navigating through the list or filtering the columns
- Select the lock or user and click Next
- Confirm the "Ongoing Access" option is selected and click Save
- The individual now has ongoing Bluetooth access to the designated lock within the date/times that fall within the organization's Standard User Schedule
- On the app:
- Tap on the "Individual Access" option
- Tap on the "+" sign in the top right corner
- From the Lock Details view, enter the email address of the user who you are granting access to and tap next or from the User Details view, select a lock that you would like to provide access to
- Confirm that the "Ongoing Access" option is toggled on and click Save
- The individual now has ongoing Bluetooth access to the designated lock within the date/times that fall within the organization's Standard User Schedule
Sharing Bluetooth Lock Access - Group Access
