Master Lock Vault Enterprise with Shared Access Communities enabled allows you to easily share access to your locks with others outside of your Vault Enterprise Organization through a SharedAccess™ List.
- Smart: Look up users within an existing “SharedAccess™” list to easily find an individual that is not in your “My Users” list
- Simple: You do not need to send an email invitation or add them to your VE Account – they act as an authorized guest user
- Secure: They can access only the lock you selected
Add Individual(s) in the SharedAccess™ List to a Group via the Vault Enterprise Website
- Login to the Vault Enterprise website: enterprise.masterlockvault.com
- Click on the "Groups" tab to view all created groups
- Click on the Group name to open the group details, or click "+ Add a New Group" to create a new group
- Within the group details page, click on the "Users" subtab
- Click the "+ Add to Group" button on the right to display the SharedAccess™ List
- Search the list by filtering by Email, First Name, Last Name, or Admin status by clicking on the funnel icon
in the first row of the table
- Enter the criteria to search by and click the "Filter" button
- Within the filtered list, click the check box next to the preferred name(s) and click "Save"
- The individual(s) has now been added to the group
Grant Individual Lock Access for SharedAccess™ Users via the Vault Enterprise Website and App
On the Vault Enterprise Website:
- Login to the Vault Enterprise website: enterprise.masterlockvault.com
- Click on the "Users" tab and then click on the "SharedAccess™ Users" subtab
- Search the list or filter by columns:
- To search, use the search bar at the top of the page
- To filter by Email, First Name or Last Name, click on the funnel icon
in the first row of the table column. Enter the filter criteria and click the "Filter" button.
- Within the list, click the email of the preferred individual to view the user details screen
- On the user details screen, click the "Access" subtab and then the "Individual Lock Access" subtab
- Click the "+ Add Individual Access" button on the right
- On the Select a Lock screen, click on your preferred lock and click "Next".
- To filter by Lock Name, Device ID, or Model #, click the funnel icon
in the first row of the table. Enter the filter criteria and click the "Filter" button.
- To filter by Lock Name, Device ID, or Model #, click the funnel icon
- On the Select Access Time screen, select the Ongoing Access option or customize the Within Specific Dates option and click "Save"
- The user has now been granted individual lock access
On the Vault Enterprise App:
- Login to the Vault Enterprise app
- Tap the "Users" tab
- Enter the individual's email address in the search bar.
- If they are not in the SharedAccess™ List and you would like to add a new user to your Vault Enterprise account, tap the plus sign "+" in the top right corner. Complete the New User setup to send an invitation email to join your Vault Enterprise organization.
- Tap on the name of the preferred individual to view the user details screen
- On the user details screen, tap the "Individual Access" button
- On the individual access screen, tap the plus sign (+) in the top right corner
- On the select a lock screen, tap the preferred lock name. To search the list, enter the lock name or device ID in the search field.
- On the Select Access Time screen, customize the individual access.
- For ongoing Bluetooth access following the Standard User Schedule, toggle the "Ongoing Access" option on.
- To share Bluetooth access within specific dates, toggle the "Ongoing Access" option off and edit the start and end times.
- Tap "Done" in the top right corner
- The user has now been granted individual lock access
